The West Lampeter Township Police Department, the L-S School District and the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office are working together to provide a second community wide substance abuse awareness program

On Tuesday October 24th, a panel featuring guests representing law enforcement, the recovery community and the treatment community will provide information to the L-S residents.  The program will start at 6:30 PM and will be held at the Martin Meylin Middle School - 1600 Book Road Lampeter, PA.

Panelists will be on hand  to provide information and take questions from the community.  The first step addressing any problem is awareness.  Whether you know someone personally, have information to pass on or just want to be made aware of what is going on in our community, please consider taking the time out of your day to attend this program and learn of the resources available.

The Friends of the West Lampeter Township Police Department will be on hand to give out free medicine lock up boxes (while supplies last) to those in need of one.

A "thank you" goes out to all the citizens who stopped by the FOF table at the Lampeter Fair.  Many in depth questions were asked about the equipment on display and what it was used for.  It was a great opportunity for us to proudly show how your generous contributions were wisely spent in support of the WLTPD.
